ABOUT
French artist, located in Paris, born in 1971, came across clay almost 15 years ago
A revelation
It was, first and foremost, a true encounter with the material, something evident, an emotion never felt before, a communion.
Then came the discovery of depiction: not just simple bodies but movements, attitudes, emotions, internal and external scars, hollows, bumps, flaws.
All this coupled with significant slices of life that have guided my choices, bias and gave way to the marks of fettling knives and tools on the clay.
I made the choice to suggest, rather than smoothen and polish, as if to represent "real" life, the one that leaves traces
I seek to capture what seems essential to me: beauty in all its forms and deep feelings.
Training
Initiated by Didier Braut and Adriana Popovic, both sculptors and former trainees of Philippe Seené, and by Michèle Gavache, a friend and renowned sculptor.
Each of them knew how to guide me and passed on to me their methods to shape a tridimensional clay work of art, while giving free rein to my own expression.
I warmly thank them.
Sculpture for all
My greatest wish is to allow you all to make my works your own and to allow them to thrive in your world.
Whether in public view, or in private, in your sleek or cozy interior spaces, or outdoors, changing with the seasons.
Finally, to satisfy all your wishes and original gift ideas, You will find in my portfolio small and large formats, raw works or with patina finishes.
I can also carry out specific orders.
Hoping that my work charms you, I wish you a good visit on my website!

Clay modeling
With carving and assembly, modelling is one of the three ways to envisage a sculpture.
This technique is practiced mainly on malleable soils, such as clay.
Although demanding, the technique of modeling allows me to give birth to figurative works that are expressive and contemporary.

Realization of the work
The creative process is by far the stage that I prefer, when it comes to capturing the essence of a pose, expression or attitude.
Once shaped, the work will have to be hollowed out to limit its weight and the risk of damage during firing, will need to respect a progressive drying period before being fired at approximately 1,000°C (1,832 °F) for several hours.
What follows, according to my desires or the acquirer’s request, is a finishing stage that will bring the sculpture either into a classical, modern, or more avant-garde world. It will give birth to a final, unique, and signed work.
